This could have been me. My guys saved me (and themselves) by winning our basketball game with Stephane's class. The bet: losers wear miniskirts the next day. Believe it or not, there are actually quite a few pretty girls in our school.
We decided to make some class T-shirts. My students had some friends who were graphic artists. They sent them some photos of me, and this is the artwork they came up with.
This one is on the right front breast, about 3 inches wide.
Occasionally, we'd combine Cultural Inheritance class with a bit of an outing. Here we're taking advantage of the nice weather to head out on a bike ride.
So, here we are in spring 2007, my second semester at GEV. This is Cultural Inheritance class, which is also my Intensive Conversation and homeroom class. I had 11 students, all guys, and they dubbed themselves "Martin's Eleven".
My sister Suzanne and brother-in-law Peter came to visit me in January 2007. They had been doing some volunteer work in the Philippines and decided to drop in just because they were in the area. We had a really nice time visiting the Golgulsa temple.

We also went for a visit to Seoul, where we took in the Gyeongbokgung Palace.
